- Hike around the Hollywood Sign (Mt. Hollywood Trail) & Griffith Observatory
- Downtown (Walt Disney Concert Hall, Angels Flight Railway, Chinatown,

- Laguna Beach (Thousand Step Beach & Pirate Tower, Balboa Island)
- Lunch Options:

- Grab Sandwiches at Lunada Market & Deli
- Dinner: Catch LA in West Hollywood (confirmed reservation at 7:30pm)



Day 5 – Tuesday, April 5
- Isabel & Niels go Biking! Explore Santa Monica and Venice
- Bikes booked: 10AM – 2PM
- Lunch options:
- Elephante in Santa Monica
- Butcher’s Daughter on Abbot Kinney (Venice)
- Coast in Santa Monica (waterfront)
- Get Salt & Straw on Abbot Kinney (Venice) and drive through the Venice Canals (great picture stop)
- Paddle Boarding or Surfing in Marina Del Rey / Venice OR visiting Downtown LA
- Dinner: Dinner at Eddie V’s for Happy Hour (Confirmed reservation at 6pm)



Day 6 – Wednesday, April 6
- Pick up rental car and drive to Joshua Tree (about 2.5 hours)
- Hotel: Holiday Inn Express & Suites Twentynine Palms- Joshua Tree, an IHG Hotel (1 night)
- Afternoon: Buy annual National Park Pass (around $80; you can buy it at park entrance) and visit park in the afternoon.
- Drive through West Entrance Station (stop at visitor center to get a map) and hike Hidden Valley Nature Trail OR The Lost Horse Mine Trail and visit Key View view point for sunset.
- Visit Pioneer Town for Dinner and eat BBQ at Pappy + Harriet’s



Day 7 – Thursday, April 7
- Enter Joshua Tree again through the West Entrance and drive to Arch Rock Nature Trail (about 1 hour) – picture stop at Hall of Horrors and Skull Rock
- Visit Cholla Cactus Garden Trail (do not touch them!)
- Leave Joshua Tree no later than 2pm and drive to Grand Canyon West (about 5 hours / 270 miles)
- Hotel: Cabins at Grand Canyon West (1 night)
Day 8 – Friday, April 8
- Visit Grand Canyon West Rim (Sky Walk) early in the morning
- Drive to Grand Canyon South Rim (4 hours / 240 miles) and park at Grand Canyon Visitor Center, next to Mather Point View Point (free parking)
- Take photos at Mather Point View Point
- Take Shuttle from Visitor Center at Mather Point to South Kaibab Trail (10 minute shuttle); Hike down to Cedar Ridge (we hiked until the Tipoff and it took us 6 hours round trip – bring food and water)
- Hotel: Holiday Inn Express & Suites Grand Canyon in (1 night)
- S&L: LAX-PHX 5:45AM Flight with Southwest (7:10AM arrival) + 9:45AM Flight PHX-Page (10:40AM arrival)
- S&L: Hyatt Place in Page (1 night)



Day 9 – Saturday, April 9
- Isabel & Niels: Drive to Page (2.5 hours / 130 miles)
- S&L: Lower Antelope Canyon Tour at 7:30am (confirmed with Ken Tours)
- Meet up at Horseshoe Bend around 11am
- Upper Antelope Canyon Tour confirmed at 3:25pm (3pm check in) with Tse Bighanilini Tours. Link
- S&L: Marriott Page at Lake Powell (1 night)
- Hotel: Isabel & Niels are staying at Best Western View of Lake Powell Hotel



Day 10 – Sunday, April 10
- Tentative – Isabel & Niels Lower Antelope Canyon Tour at 7:45am
- Drive to Las Vegas (4.5 hours / 272 miles)
- Stop at Zion National Park / Valley of Fire (optional)
- Hotel: Caesar Palace in Las Vegas (2 nights)
- S&L: Bellagio Las Vegas (1 night)
- Dinner: Tao Asian Bistro (Confirmed reservation on Sunday, 4/10 at 8:30pm. Menu)
- Drinks at Drai’s Nightclub

Day 11 – Monday, April 11
- Explore Las Vegas
- Book a show (Cirque du Soleil)
- Restaurant Options:

- Badwater Basin and Artist’s Palette (drive through with photo stops)
- Twenty Mule Canyon (you can drive through this trail; stop for photos)
- Zabriskie Point (hike around)



Day 14 – Thursday, April 14

- Salt Creek Interpretive Trail
- Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes:
- Mosaic Canyon Trail
- Father Crowley Overlook (when you are leaving the park)
- Drive to Lake Tahoe

Day 15 – Friday, April 15
- Drive to Napa (3 hours)
- Lunch at Chandon (Napa Valley) (make reservation)
- Continue drive to San Francisco (Muir; 1 hour)
- Visit Redwood Trees at Muir Woods National Monument (book parking pass in advance)
- Hotel: Stefanie & Landon will stay at Hyatt Centric in Fisherman’s Wharf
